Sustainability of duck and quail hunting in Australia
Limited stock available
The SSAA commissioned Professor Graham Hall to write Exploring the current and future sustainability of duck and quail hunting in Australia. The aim of this book was to accumulate and objectively assess information that provides a risk assessment of hunting in relation to the adaptive management of ducks and quail. It addresses a series of questions relating to scientific evidence to determine the impact of hunting; the setting of bag limits and harvest rates; to determine if the way data is currently being used in season setting decisions is based on solid game management principles and reflects the associated risks, and whether current survey methods are fit for purpose as season setting tools.
